Men’s Opening Day Scramble

Thank you to everyone who came out to participate! And a special thanks to everyone who contributed to the CT PGA Foundation. With your help we were able to raise $346 for Junior Golf! 

 

FORMAT:                                        4 Player Scramble.  All players hit a tee shot.  The team then selects the best shot, and all players hit from that spot.  This process is repeated through each hole, and for the duration of the round.

 

 

TEE MARKERS:                            All participants will play from the WHITE tee markers.

Exception:  players who have reached age 68 and who have a handicap of 16 or greater may play from the GOLD tee markers. 

 

 

HANDICAPS:                                  Today’s tournament is based on the team’s gross score only.

 

LOCAL RULES:                             The ball may be placed within 1 club length of the selected shot.  The club length cannot be used to go from rough to fairway, out of penalty area, etc.

 

CONTESTS:                                     Closest to the Pin contest: Hole #18. Separate contests for A, B, C, & D players.

 

Closest to the Pin 2nd Shot contest: Hole #6. Separate contests for A, B, C, & D players.

 

Hit the Green Contest on Hole #2 to benefit the PGA Golf Foundation.

 

SKINS GAME:                                $40 per TEAM

 

ADDITIONAL INFO:                    The use of Electronic measuring devices is permitted.

                                                            Please see the club scorecard for additional local rules.

                                                            Please try to stay for lunch and awards after today’s play.
